Experienced Care Assistants– Residential Care Homes

We’re looking for compassionate and experienced Care Assistants to join our friendly teams at Downs House and Stroud House Residential Care Homes.

If you have hands-on care experience and are passionate about supporting older people, including those living with dementia, we’d love to hear from you.

Available Roles - £13.70 per hour + weekends enhancements

Care Assistants peripatetic roles - Downs House & Stroud House

24 hours per week
Peripatetic Roles only - Drivers required (to cover both homes)

Care Assistant - Stroud House

(Nights) 24 hours per week - Monday - Sunday 2 week rolling shift pattern
(Days) 30 hours per week shift pattern - 7am - 1pm / 8am - 2pm / 2pm -8pm including alternate weekends

Care Assistants - Downs House

Days - 42 hours per week

Your Role

As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents to live happy, comfortable and fulfilling lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care and support with daily living
Building meaningful relationships through companionship and emotional support
Supporting mobility, wellbeing and independence
Caring for residents living with dementia and complex needs
Completing accurate care records
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team

About Our Homes

Downs House - is a welcoming 46-bed residential care home in Petersfield, providing high-quality, person-centred care in a calm and supportive environment.

Stroud House - is a specialist 25-bed residential care home supporting older people, including those living with complex dementia, in a warm and homely setting.
