About us

We are a family run plant & tool hire company operating out of two locations supplying a large range of equipment across the South Coast. Established 44 years ago, Rentool has gone from strength to strength and we are keen to keep growing. We provide a personal, honest and efficient service to our clients which we believe is the key to our success. We are a friendly team and want people to enjoy their time with us.

The role

As a mobile and workshop plant fitter you will be required to maintain and repair our large fleet of construction equipment. This includes excavators from 800kg to 14 tonne, dumpers from tracked dumpers to 9 tonne, telehandlers, rollers etc.

A company van will be provided.

You will be required to complete and maintain service records and inspection certificates, ensuring all equipment is safe for hire.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

This is a full time position, we operate Monday to Friday 0700 - 1700.

About you

Have strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Be able to diagnose faults and carry out the necessary repairs safely and efficiently.
Be able to weld to a high standard
Be able to work on your own and as part of a team.
Have previous experience working with plant machinery.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
