Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Sonographer, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As a Sonographer, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to capture detailed images of patients’ internal structures, aiding physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients across various specialties, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, adjusting settings to obtain optimal images for accurate diagnosis.
Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to review images and provide preliminary findings when appropriate.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring all imaging data is properly documented and stored securely.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control standards to protect patients and staff.
Stay current with technological advancements in sonography and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sonographer or Ultrasound Technician with a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging techniques.
Certification from a recognized professional body such as the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
Proficiency in operating various ultrasound equipment and software systems.
Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to sonography practices.
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends as needed.
