Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest services, ensure smooth restaurant operations, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, working in a dynamic environment that values teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
Take and relay customer orders accurately using the POS system
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
Provide attentive guest service, addressing any enquiries or special requests promptly
Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and maximise sales
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
Handle cash transactions accurately and manage basic math calculations for bills and payments
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow during shifts

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety regulations and food preparation techniques is advantageous
Experience in guest services, serving, or upselling will be beneficial
Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience can be an asset
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to create a welcoming environment for guests

Pay: £12.21-£12.80 per hour
