Social Media Course Sales Representative
The Training Academy – Newport
Remote / Flexible
The Training Academy is looking for confident, motivated and social-media-savvy people to join our growing sales team.
We provide a wide range of professional training courses across Beauty, Aesthetics, Hair, Holistic Therapies and Advanced Treatments, alongside our Junior Beauty & Hairdressing Academies.
We're looking for people who are great at using social media, comfortable communicating with potential customers and enjoy finding creative ways to generate new enquiries.
The Role
Your main responsibility will be to promote The Training Academy and generate genuine enquiries from people interested in our courses and academies.
Typical activities include:
- Promoting our courses on Facebook and Instagram
- Posting within relevant local Facebook groups
- Using community and selling groups
- Sharing current offers and promotions
- Promoting our Junior Beauty & Hairdressing Academies
- Responding to people who show an interest
- Finding new groups and audiences to advertise to
- Generating new customer leads
- Passing interested customers to our Academy team
You won't be expected to manage the entire sales process.
Once you have generated a genuine interested lead and collected their contact details, our Academy team will take over, provide further information and work on converting the enquiry into a booking.

You'll be added to our dedicated Sales Team WhatsApp group where we regularly provide:
- Ready-made social media posts
- Professional graphics
- Videos
- Course information
- Current promotions
- New course launches
- Junior Academy advertising
- Sales ideas
- Team updates
You're free to choose which content you use and when you use it.
Flexible Working
This opportunity is designed to be extremely flexible.
There are no set hours and much of the activity can be carried out remotely using your phone or computer.
It could work particularly well around other commitments.
You decide when and how often you promote the Academy and can experiment with different social media platforms, groups and advertising approaches to find what works best for you.
Full Lead Tracking System
You'll be provided with access to our simple lead tracking system.
When somebody enquires, you'll record their:
- Name
- Telephone number
- Course they're interested in
- Lead source
- Relevant notes
Our Academy team will then contact the customer and manage the booking process.
This also allows you to keep track of the enquiries and sales you've generated.
Team Environment
Although you'll work independently, you'll also be part of our wider sales team.
Our WhatsApp group allows everyone to share:
- Successful post ideas
- Groups that are generating enquiries
- Advertising ideas
- Tips
- What's currently selling well
We also run regular sales targets, competitions, incentives and additional bonuses to keep things fun and rewarding.
Who We're Looking For
This opportunity could be ideal for someone who:
- Uses Facebook and Instagram confidently
- Understands Facebook groups and social media
- Enjoys speaking with people
- Has good written communication skills
- Is self-motivated
- Can work independently
- Is comfortable generating and following up enquiries
- Enjoys sales and achieving targets
- Has an interest in beauty, aesthetics, hair or training
Previous sales or social media experience would be an advantage but isn't essential.

Location
The Training Academy is based in Newport, South Wales.
Our training customers regularly travel from across South Wales and surrounding areas, so you'll be encouraged to advertise across Newport, Cardiff, Cwmbran, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, the Valleys, Bristol and other suitable areas.
Earnings
This is a self-employed, performance-based sales opportunity with no guaranteed basic salary.
Earnings are directly linked to successful qualifying sales generated through your leads, with uncapped earning potential. Full payment terms and the incentive structure will be explained before you accept the role.
Additional bonuses and sales incentives may also be available.
