At PGL Midlands (PGL), we’re growing – and we’re looking for a talented, confident Training Coordinator to help support our continued expansion, customer service excellence, and quality delivery.
We’re a thriving Health & Safety training and NVQ provider supporting customers across the West and East Midlands. With five centres, seven awarding bodies, and a strong reputation for quality, we pride ourselves on being an award-winning, team-orientated business that genuinely cares about what we do.
Now we’re looking for someone experienced who can step in, hit the ground running, and become a key part of our small but mighty team.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing day-to-day enquiries for training courses and NVQs, providing clear and helpful information
- Supporting inbound course bookings and confirming reservations
- Updating internal tracking systems for courses and venues
- Handling telephone enquiries with confidence and professionalism
- Assisting key accounts and supporting business growth with updated information for customers and visitors
- Coordinating venue bookings, sourcing trainers, updating processes, and confirming course numbers
- Supporting wider business functions as needed
What we’re looking for
- An experienced Training Coordinator/Admin (or similar background) is required. If you are not currently working within a training provider organisation or within the construction industry (or an associated administrative role), unfortunately we are unable to consider your application for this role (this is a mandatory requirement).
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural customer service approach
- Friendly, approachable and positive attitude
- A genuine “can-do” mindset
- Knowledge of the Health & Safety training sector – this is essential
What you’ll receive
- The chance to join a thriving, ambitious provider with an excellent reputation
- A passionate, supportive and energetic team
- Competitive salary
- Additional leave over Christmas and New Year (performance-based)
- Hybrid working options (for example, 3 days in the office / 2 days from home)
- Real opportunities for personal and professional growth
- Ongoing support and additional perks
We’re looking to hire within the next 2–6 weeks, depending on the right person and their current situation.
All applications will be handled with strict confidentiality.
