Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating sewing machines to produce high-quality textile products in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for sewing and warehouse experience to develop their skills within a supportive organisation. Duties

Operate various types of sewing machines to assemble and finish textile products according to specifications.
Ensure that all products meet quality standards by inspecting finished work and making necessary adjustments.
Follow production schedules and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Assist with inventory management by organising materials and supplies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and resolve any sewing-related issues promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
Proven sewing skills, with the ability to operate different types of sewing machines confidently.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
