As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Heating Service & Maintenance Engineer to become the foundation of our expanding service department.
This isn't simply another service engineer role. You'll initially take the lead in servicing, maintaining and fault-finding across our growing customer base, with the opportunity to develop into Service & Maintenance Manager as the department expands.

The Role
Based from our office in Scorrier and covering the whole of Cornwall, you'll be responsible for:
- Servicing oil-fired boilers
- Servicing and maintaining air source heat pumps
- Fault finding and diagnosing heating system issues
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance
- Annual servicing and warranty work
- Supporting commissioning where required
- Providing excellent aftercare and technical support to our customers
As the role develops, you'll also help shape our service department by improving systems, mentoring engineers and helping deliver an industry-leading customer experience.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys solving problems.
Essential:
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining domestic heating systems
- Experience working on oil-fired heating systems
- Experience working with air source heat pumps
- Relevant industry qualifications
- Excellent fault-finding skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Gas qualifications
- Manufacturer accreditations
- Experience with renewable heating technologies
- Experience supervising or mentoring engineers
- Knowledge of MCS standards
