Social Media Manager

Sports Bar, Events & Darts Shop

Location: Bradmoor Farm Sports Bar
Position: Social Media Manager
Hours: To be discussed

Bradmoor Farm Sports Bar is a large and growing sports and entertainment venue, offering a range of activities including pool, shuffleboard, golf simulator and darts, alongside a busy events calendar and a dedicated darts shop.

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and confident Social Media Manager to take responsibility for developing our social media presence across the venue and darts shop.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating content, interacting with people and finding interesting ways to showcase what we have to offer.

The Role

Your main responsibility will be to make our social media interesting, engaging and something people want to follow.

We don't want our social media to simply be a stream of adverts. We want to show the experience of visiting the venue, the people who use it, the activities available and what's happening throughout the year.

You will also help build the profile of our darts shop, creating content around products, players, equipment, advice and the wider darts community.

Sports Bar & Venue

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts.
Creating regular photos, videos, Reels, TikToks and Stories.
Showcasing the atmosphere and experience of the venue.
Promoting pool, shuffleboard, golf simulator, darts and other facilities.
Creating content around customers, groups, celebrations and visitors.
Promoting special offers and activities.
Showcasing what's happening at the venue throughout the week.
Promoting upcoming competitions, tournaments and events.
Providing social media coverage while events are taking place.
Capturing highlights, results, winners and memorable moments.
Creating content that encourages people to come in, try the facilities and spend time at the venue.
Responding to comments, messages and customer enquiries.
Working with management to plan upcoming content and promotions.
Keeping up with current social media trends and finding ways to use them appropriately.

Darts Shop & Community

The darts shop will have its own strong presence within our social media, but the focus will be much more than simply selling products.

You will:

Promote new darts, barrels, flights, shafts, cases and accessories.
Showcase new stock, popular products and special offers.
Create product demonstrations and engaging equipment content.
Provide darts tips, advice and equipment recommendations.
Explain different products and help customers understand what might suit them.
Feature players and customers visiting the shop.
Showcase interesting dart setups and equipment.
Interview players about what darts they use and why.
Highlight local players, teams and the wider darts community.
Create content for people who are new to darts and looking to get started.
Capture behind-the-scenes content from the shop.
Showcase new stock arriving and interesting products.
Promote darts events and competitions taking place at the venue.
Create competitions, giveaways and interactive social media campaigns.
Encourage customers to share their own setups and experiences.
Work with players, teams, brands and suppliers to create collaborative content.
Keep the shop connected to the wider darts community.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Creative and full of ideas.
Confident using Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Comfortable taking photos and videos.
Able to create and edit engaging short-form video content.
Confident speaking to customers and players.
Comfortable creating content in a busy venue environment.
Organised and able to plan content around events and promotions.
Good at writing engaging captions and posts.
Able to work independently and take initiative.
Comfortable being proactive rather than waiting to be told what to post.
Interested in sports, entertainment, hospitality, social media or darts.
Reliable, enthusiastic and professional.

Previous social media experience is preferred, but we are more interested in finding someone who is creative, understands social media and can demonstrate what they can do.

What Success Looks Like

The aim isn't simply to increase our follower count.

We want our social media to:

Make people want to visit the venue.
Make people want to try the activities.
Make people aware of upcoming events.
Make customers feel part of the community.
Make darts players want to visit the shop.
And ultimately help increase footfall, bookings, event entries and shop sales.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take ownership of the social media for a busy, growing venue with plenty of content opportunities, and to develop the role as the business continues to grow.
