Role Summary
Connected Data Solutions is looking for an experienced Solution Consultant with proven UKG Pro WFM experience to support the design, configuration, implementation and optimisation of workforce management solutions for clients.
The role requires a strong blend of consulting, functional design, stakeholder engagement, solution configuration and delivery discipline. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand operational requirements, translate them into practical system designs, support implementation activity, and help ensure UKG Pro WFM is aligned to real business needs.
Essential Requirement
Candidates must have hands-on experience with UKG Pro WFM. Applications without UKG Pro WFM experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support discovery workshops with client stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Operations and Workforce Management.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements for UKG Pro WFM implementations and optimisation projects.
- Translate client requirements into clear functional designs and configuration approaches.
- Configure UKG Pro WFM modules in line with agreed design principles and client requirements.
- Support solution design across areas such as scheduling, timekeeping, absence, accruals, pay rules, labour allocation, reporting and operational workflows.
- Identify gaps between standard product capability and client requirements, recommending practical options and workarounds where appropriate.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including requirements, design notes, configuration workbooks, test scripts, process flows and handover materials.
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing and defect resolution.
- Work with technical and integration teams to support interface requirements, data mapping and end-to-end process validation.
- Advise clients on best practice use of UKG Pro WFM and workforce management processes.
- Support training, knowledge transfer and client readiness activities.
- Contribute to project planning, status reporting, issue management and risk identification.
- Build trusted working relationships with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
- Support post-go-live stabilisation, optimisation and continuous improvement activity.
Required Experience
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with UKG Pro WFM.
- Experience working as a Solution Consultant, Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, Implementation Consultant or similar role in workforce management.
- Strong understanding of workforce management processes, including time and attendance, scheduling, labour management and absence-related processes.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating them into functional designs.
- Experience configuring enterprise SaaS or workforce management systems.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to explain complex system behaviour clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting testing cycles, defect triage and go-live readiness.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working across multiple projects, priorities and client environments.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider project teams.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with UKG Dimensions / UKG Workforce Dimensions terminology and migration contexts.
- Experience with legacy Kronos / UKG Workforce Central.
- Experience with payroll, HRIS or ERP integrations.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare or other shift-based environments
- Familiarity with Zoho, Jira, DevOps, SharePoint or similar delivery/project tools.
- Experience supporting workforce management optimisation or health-check engagements.
- Understanding of change management, training and operational adoption.
