Job Summary
*IMMEDIATE START*
We are looking for a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Bridal Dresser & Final Fittings Assistant to support brides during their final fitting appointments. This role is essential in ensuring every bride feels comfortable, confident, and beautifully presented by assisting with dressing, and providing exceptional care throughout the experience.
Hours: Part-time – 20 hours per week
Working Pattern: Every Saturday is mandatory, working 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. The remaining hours will be discussed at point of interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist brides in getting into and out of their wedding dresses with care and professionalism.
- Conduct final dress fittings, ensuring the gown fits perfectly and all alterations have been completed to the required standard.
- Fasten gowns, corsets, buttons, zips, and bustles correctly and securely.
- Provide calm, reassuring, and attentive support to brides throughout fittings and dressing appointments.
- Handle bridal gowns and accessories with the utmost care to maintain their quality and condition.
- Work closely with seamstresses, bridal consultants, and other team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming fitting area.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in bridalwear, formalwear, fashion retail, or garment fitting is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of presentation.
- Confidence handling delicate and high-value garments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- A caring, patient, and discreet approach when working closely with clients.
- Good organisational and time management skills.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
