Full job description

Part-Time Financial Controller/Bookkeeper

Location: Rural location (must be a car driver)
Hours: Part-time – flexible days and hours available (approx. 2 – 3 days per week)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We are a small, friendly, and supportive team looking for a proactive Financial Controller of a busy Restaurant and associated activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a close-knit working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintaining accurate financial records and taking responsibility of all aspects of the accounting department

· Processing invoices, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping tasks

· Supporting wider office operations when required, suppling cost analysis and budgetary discussions and results to MD

· Communicating confidently with colleagues and external contacts via telephone and email

Requirements:

· Excellent knowledge of Xero

· Strong Excel skills, including confident use of spreadsheets

· Able to work under pressure and without constant supervision

· A positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills

· Must hold a full driving licence due to rural location
