The Role
Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll be responsible for leading all aspects of marketing, brand development and events across our nursery group.
You'll work closely with our nursery managers and central support team to increase occupancy, strengthen our reputation, deliver engaging events and ensure every family has an exceptional experience with us.
No two days will be the same. One day you might be organising a graduation ceremony or community event, the next creating a new marketing campaign, reviewing enquiry data, producing content for social media or coordinating professional photography across our settings.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and delivering the company's marketing strategy.
- Managing our social media channels, website and digital presence.
- Creating engaging content including photography, video and written materials.
- Planning and delivering open days, graduations, family events and community engagement activities.
- Supporting nursery managers with local marketing initiatives.
- Building relationships with local schools, businesses and community organisations.
- Monitoring enquiry and occupancy trends and developing campaigns to increase enrolment.
- Working alongside our admissions team to continually improve the customer journey.
- Ensuring our brand is consistently represented across every nursery.
- Managing marketing budgets and evaluating campaign performance.
- Supporting the launch of new nurseries and acquisition projects.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Experience in a marketing, events or brand management role.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- A creative eye and passion for producing high-quality content.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Confidence using social media, websites and marketing platforms.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between our nurseries.
- Experience within education, childcare or hospitality.
- Photography or videography skills.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital advertising and email marketing.

Role Overview
The Events and Marketing Manager will be responsible for enhancing the brand, reputation, and occupancy levels across The Nursery School Company’s settings. This role will lead on the planning and delivery of high-quality events, alongside developing and executing marketing strategies that reflect the company’s values, drive enquiries, and strengthen relationships with families and the wider community.
This is a hands-on role requiring creativity, organisation, and a strong understanding of both marketing and customer experience within an early years environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Delivery
- Develop and implement a clear, consistent marketing strategy across all nursery settings
- Manage brand identity and ensure consistency across all platforms and materials
- Oversee digital marketing, including website content, social media, and online presence
- Plan and execute campaigns to drive enquiries, showarounds, and occupancy
- Monitor and report on marketing performance, making data-driven improvements
- Work closely with nursery managers to ensure local marketing aligns with wider company strategy
Events Management
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver a calendar of high-quality events across all settings
- Lead on key events such as open days, graduations, parent events, and community engagement activities
- Ensure all events reflect the company’s values and deliver an exceptional parent experience
- Manage event logistics including suppliers, budgets, staffing, and risk assessments
- Evaluate the success of events and identify opportunities for improvement
Admissions and Customer Journey Support
- Support the enquiry and admissions process by ensuring a strong first impression for prospective families
- Review and improve the customer journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment
- Work with the team to ensure showarounds and communications reflect the brand and values
Content Creation and Communications
- Create high-quality marketing materials including brochures, newsletters, and promotional content
- Oversee photography, videography, and storytelling across settings
- Manage internal and external communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and professionalism
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organisations
- Identify partnership opportunities to strengthen brand presence
