- Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Evening or occasional weekend work may be required depending on event schedules. Overtime is provided as time off in lieu (TOIL).

We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join our busy operations team. This is a hands-on role supporting the delivery of live events across the UK and internationally. You’ll play a vital part in preparing, organising and maintaining professional audio-visual equipment, ensuring every event leaves the warehouse ready for success.
4. About the Organisation
MMP Productions has been delivering world-class live events for over 30 years across the UK and internationally. Our warehouse operation plays a key role in preparing, maintaining and dispatching AV equipment so that events and projects run smoothly. As a Warehouse Operative, you will help ensure AV equipment and stock are organised, checked, packed and ready for use by our technical and production teams.
5. Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support efficient warehouse operations by handling goods and equipment safely, maintaining accurate stock records, preparing equipment for dispatch, and keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the company to make sure items are available, correctly prepared and delivered on time.
6. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, check and store incoming goods, AV equipment and deliveries.
- Label and prepare items accurately for events, projects or client orders.
- Load and unload vehicles safely, following manual handling and health and safety procedures.
- Check AV equipment and stock against delivery notes, picking lists and warehouse records.
- Maintain accurate stock control records and report any shortages, damage, faults or discrepancies.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, tidy, organised and free from hazards.
- Assist with basic cleaning, preparation and maintenance of equipment before it is returned to storage or dispatched.
- Use warehouse systems, paperwork or digital tools to record movements of stock and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines.
- Follow all company procedures for safe working, security, housekeeping and equipment handling.
- Assist with the preparation of event documentation, including equipment check lists, delivery paperwork and carnets for international events.
7. Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail when checking, picking, packing and recording items.
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures and safe working practices.
- Comfortable with practical, hands-on work in a busy warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills and a helpful, professional attitude.
- Basic computer or handheld device skills, or willingness to learn warehouse systems.
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely and responsibly.
- Awareness of health and safety requirements in a warehouse or operational environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
8. Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience working in a warehouse, stores, logistics, event production, hire company or equipment-based environment.
- Experience using stock control systems, scanners or inventory software.
- Understanding of safe manual handling, loading procedures and equipment care.
- Interest in live events, technical production, audio visual equipment or logistics.
