Full job description

Lead a New Coffee Shop. Build a Great Team. Make It Your Own.

We're looking for an exceptional Coffee Shop Manager to lead our brand-new Port Talbot coffee shop.

This is a hands-on management role for someone who genuinely enjoys leading people, delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining exceptionally high standards. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the coffee shop, developing your team, creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers, and ensuring every part of the business operates smoothly.

You'll spend plenty of time on the shop floor, leading by example, supporting your team and helping create the friendly, relaxed experience that Bradleys Coffee is known for.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Leading, motivating and developing your team.
Creating staff rotas and ensuring the business is appropriately staffed.
Maintaining consistently high standards of customer service, food quality and presentation.
Taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the coffee shop.
Managing stock levels, placing orders and working closely with suppliers.
Completing daily banking and preparing weekly business reports.
Ensuring excellent food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
Managing the shop's social media presence and helping promote the business within the local community.
Creating a positive, supportive and enjoyable working environment.
Being the site's primary key holder and taking ownership of the business.

You'll Also Be Part of the Team

This is a working manager role. Alongside leading the business, you'll regularly work as a barista and customer service team member by:

Welcoming customers and providing a warm, friendly experience.
Preparing high-quality coffees, teas and cold drinks.
Preparing food including paninis, toasties, salads and other menu items.
Maintaining excellent presentation throughout the shop.
Keeping work areas clean, organised and fully stocked.
Sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for great coffee and food with customers and colleagues.

We're Looking For Someone Who

Has previous experience managing or supervising a team (essential).
Has experience within hospitality, cafés or food and beverage service.
Leads by example and enjoys helping others succeed.
Is organised, proactive and able to make good decisions under pressure.
Has excellent communication and people skills.
Takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards.
Is positive, approachable, humble and professional.
Can work weekdays, weekends and school holidays as required.
Is committed to delivering consistently outstanding customer experiences.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
