Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Nail Technician to join our beauty salon. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and specialised nail treatments. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills in a welcoming environment, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring clients leave feeling pampered and satisfied. A passion for beauty and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Duties

Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
Make personalised recommendations based on client preferences and nail health.
Maintain a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with health and safety standards.
Ensure all tools and equipment are sterilised after each use.
Provide excellent customer service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and engaging with clients professionally.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise salon flow.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art and techniques to offer innovative services.
Assist in retailing nail care products to clients where appropriate.

Experience

Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate.
Skills in makeup application are advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to work well within a team whilst also being capable of working independently.
Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and client satisfaction. This role offers an engaging environment where creativity and professionalism are valued.
