Complete CAD & Structural Solutions Ltd is a growing architecture, planning and structural engineering consultancy based in Swansea. We work on a wide range of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across South Wales.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a highly capable and motivated individual to join our team. We are looking for someone who can independently manage projects from initial client enquiry through to planning submission and technical coordination.
This is not a junior CAD technician role. We are looking for someone who can genuinely take ownership of projects and become a key part of the business.
The Role
You will be involved in a variety of projects including:
- Residential extensions and loft conversions
- HMOs and flat conversions
- New build housing developments
- Commercial refurbishments
- Industrial and office schemes
- Listed buildings and change of use applications
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out measured building surveys
- Producing existing and proposed drawings in Revit and AutoCAD
- Preparing planning application packages
- Preparing Building Regulations drawings
- Writing planning statements and design & access statements
- Liaising with clients, planning officers and consultants
- Managing projects independently
- Producing feasibility layouts and concept designs
- Coordinating structural and drainage information
- Attending site visits and client meetings
- Managing deadlines and project workflow
Essential Requirements
- Strong experience within UK architecture, planning or architectural technology
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of construction methods and detailing
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving ability and commercial awareness
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Welsh planning policy and local authorities
- Structural engineering knowledge
- Experience preparing drainage or SAB drawings
- Knowledge of HMO standards
- Experience with rendering and visualisations
- Experience managing planning appeals or enforcement matters

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
