Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Location: Deeside, CH5 2LA (In-person)
Salary: From £13.01 per hour
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Pattern: 42.5 hours per week | 4.5-Day Working Week | Monday – Friday (Shift Rota)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our professional team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–8 years, fostering a nurturing environment where every child can flourish.
As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in implementing the Curriculum for Wales and ensuring the highest standards of the Early Childcare, Play, Learning and Care (ECPLC) framework are met daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the ECPLC and the Curriculum for Wales.
- Act as a Key Person, observing and documenting children’s progress to support their individual development.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment in accordance with the National Minimum Standards for childcare.
- Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Must hold a recognised Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 CCLD or equivalent).
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience working within a nursery or childcare setting is required.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of the ECPLC and the Curriculum for Wales.
- Compliance: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
- Reliability: Must be able to reliably commute to Deeside (CH5).
