Motorhome/ Caravan Technician at Flintshire

Role

Motorhome / Caravan Technician

We are seeking a skilled Motorhome / Caravan Technician to carry out servicing, repairs, and accessory installations on motorhomes and campervans.

In this role, you will work on habitation systems, vehicle accessories, and pre-delivery preparation to ensure every vehicle is safe, fully functional, and ready for customers.

This position is ideal for technicians who enjoy varied work beyond standard vehicle servicing.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out habitation services in line with Industry standards
Diagnose faults within electrical, water, heating, and appliance systems
Work on both 12V and 240V electrical systems
Perform damp inspections and interior repairs
Install accessories such as solar panels, awnings, alarms, and cameras
Diagnose battery and charging system issues
Complete accurate repair reports and job documentation
Prepare vehicles for sale and customer handover
Work closely with Service Advisors and customers to resolve issues

Requirements

Previous experience as a Motorhome, Caravan, or Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Good knowledge of 12V and 240V electrical systems
Basic plumbing and interior repair abilities
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
High attention to detail
Full UK driving licence

Desirable (Not Essential)

NCC / AWS habitation certification
LPG or gas qualifications
Experience installing motorhome accessories
Experience working with multiple motorhome manufacturers
