Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Fast Food Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a positive dining experience and possess a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food service and customer engagement within a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
Serve customers with a friendly attitude, upselling menu items where appropriate
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation stations
Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
Manage cash register transactions and handle payments accurately
Assist in restocking supplies and organising workstations for smooth operation
Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly
Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to perform basic maths for handling cash transactions and giving correct change
Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing demands within the role
