Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our establishment. Previous hotel experience is preferred, as you will play a vital role in ensuring that guest rooms and laundry facilities are kept to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise bedrooms, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-presented.
Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as needed.
Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and garments.
Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including hallways and lobbies.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or similar environment is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day.
