We are an ambitious new provider entering the adult complex care sector and are seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to join us at the beginning of our journey.
Whilst this is a new venture within adult complex care, we are not new to providing high-quality care services. We currently own and operate a successful children’s residential care organisation with a strong reputation for delivering positive outcomes and maintaining excellent relationships with Local Authorities and commissioning teams across the region.
As we expand into adult complex care, we are looking for an experienced Registered Manager who shares our commitment to excellence and is excited by the opportunity to help build a service from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced care professional to lead the setup, registration, development, and growth of a specialist complex care service supporting adults in their own homes.
The successful candidate will work directly with the Directors and play a key role in securing CQC registration, establishing operational systems, recruiting staff, developing policies and procedures, and building a service recognised for delivering outstanding care.
Your Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the CQC registration process.
- Preparing and maintaining all documentation required by CQC.
- Developing policies, procedures, governance, and quality assurance systems.
- Recruiting, training, supervising, and supporting care staff.
- Establishing safe and effective care delivery systems.
- Building relationships with Local Authorities, NHS teams, case managers, social workers, commissioners, and other key stakeholders.
- Supporting business growth and service development.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Creating a positive culture focused on person-centred care and excellent outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Care Manager, Deputy Manager, or Senior Manager within adult social care.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, Fundamental Standards, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Experience within domiciliary care, complex care, supported living, or community-based services.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Enhanced DBS check.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Highly Desirable
- Previous experience successfully completing a CQC registration.
- Experience establishing or growing a new care service.
- Knowledge of complex care including:
- Tracheostomy care
- PEG feeding
- Ventilation support
- Epilepsy management
- Learning disabilities

- Positive Behaviour Support
- Existing relationships with healthcare professionals, commissioners, case managers, or Local Authorities within the North West region.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary package of £55,000 per annum.
- CQC Registration Completion Bonus.
- Performance-related annual bonus.
- Opportunity to shape and influence the service from inception.
- Career progression into senior operational leadership roles as the organisation grows.
- Ongoing professional development and support.
- Flexible and supportive working environment.
- The security and backing of an established care provider with a proven track record and strong commissioning relationships.
