The Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities team. This is a hands-on role, combining day to day cleaning duties with responsibility for managing and supporting our Cleaning team of three colleagues.
The role is 20 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 5.00pm to 9.00pm, in an office environment. This role provides stable working hours in a professional environment.
Our cleaning team plays an important role in the smooth running of our firm. Every day, they help create the right first impression and ensure our colleagues and clients experience a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
You will work alongside the cleaning team, leading by example and helping to maintain consistently high standards across the firm. In doing so, you will make a visible difference every day by:
- Providing day to day supervision and support to the cleaning team, including allocating tasks and ensuring cover across the firm
- Working as part of the team to carry out a range of cleaning duties, including cleaning meeting rooms, workspaces and communal areas, hoovering and mopping floors, and cleaning toilets and kitchens
- Supporting consistently high cleaning standards across all areas of the building
- Acting as a keyholder and ensuring the building is secured at the end of the day
- Supporting waste segregation and recycling in line with the firm’s practices
- Ensuring cleaning supplies are adequately stocked
Requirements
You will take pride in maintaining a clean and professional environment and be comfortable working with minimal supervision. You will be organised, reliable and confident supervising a small team, with the ability to maintain standards and work collaboratively.
You will have previous supervisory experience, ideally within a commercial cleaning environment. You will bring a positive and professional approach, communicate clearly, and have a strong focus on doing the right thing and delivering a consistently high standard of service.
