DJ & Event Team Member – Weddings & Corporate Events (1 Day Per Week + Overtime Available)

Location: North East England
Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent
Hours: Typically 1 regular 10hr day per week (mostly Saturdays) + additional overtime available during busy periods
Pay: Starting from £15 per hour
Start Date: Immediate / Full Training Provided

We provide professional DJ entertainment, photo booths, dance floors, lighting, décor, special effects and interactive event experiences for hundreds of events every year.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable, professional and motivated individual to join our growing team on a regular weekly basis.

This is not casual agency work — we are looking for someone long-term who wants to become part of an ambitious business, with opportunities for additional hours, progression and increased responsibility over time.

No two shifts are the same. One Saturday you may be helping deliver a luxury wedding, the next supporting a corporate event, DJing a packed dance floor, hosting a photo booth, or helping create an unforgettable guest experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be involved in delivering a wide range of events and experiences, including:

Setting up and operating professional DJ, sound and lighting equipment
Supporting or DJing at weddings, private parties and corporate events (training provided if required)
Installing and operating event equipment including photo booths, dance floors, lighting and décor
Loading, transporting and packing down professional event equipment
Supporting the smooth delivery of premium events from setup through to pack down
Delivering exceptional customer service to clients and venues

The role includes a mixture of daytime setup work, evening event work and late finishes.

Additional overtime is regularly available during busy periods, particularly throughout wedding season and Christmas, with opportunities for extra weekday and weekend shifts.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual and organised
Confident speaking with customers and venues
Comfortable working evenings and weekends
Physically capable of lifting and moving event equipment
Calm under pressure and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about music, events, entertainment or production

Requirements

Full UK driving licence (required)
Access to your own vehicle for travel to/from our warehouse
Saturday availability (required)

Previous experience in events, hospitality, DJing, weddings, customer service, theatre/live production or entertainment would be an advantage — but full training can be provided for the right person.

Typical Schedule

Typically 1 regular shift per week (mostly Saturdays)
Most event shifts are approximately 4pm – Midnight, though timings vary depending on the event
