Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Florist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for colour, design, and detail, with a strong background in floral arrangement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft beautiful floral displays for various occasions while providing exceptional customer service. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating stunning arrangements, advising customers, and maintaining the overall presentation of the shop.

Duties

Design and assemble floral arrangements for events, retail displays, and individual customers
Provide expert advice on flower selection, care, and complementary products
Maintain a well-organised stock of flowers, foliage, and related materials
Ensure all floral displays are fresh, vibrant, and presented to high standards
Assist with the organisation of merchandising displays to optimise sales
Manage incoming stock deliveries and ensure proper storage of flowers and supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the shop environment
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, offering personalised recommendations

Skills

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years traceable work history in all aspects of floristry.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple orders and stock efficiently
Ability to work creatively under pressure while adhering to deadlines
Good merchandising skills to enhance visual appeal of displays
Exceptional attention to colour coordination, detail, and aesthetics
Must be able to work as part of a team & independently.
