Regional Support Manager
£60,000.00 per annum with Car Allowance

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Support Manager with proven business development and project management experience, to join one of the most successful management consultancies in the UK.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering quality focused projects on time and in budget whilst championing independence, choice and dignity for thousands of people who are dependent on nursing and residential care.
Job purpose
To support the Operations Team in the improvement of quality of services and standards in private care and nursing homes throughout the Northern/ Southern region and to play a pivotal role in business recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality monitoring visits and provide accurate and in-depth reports to the Regional Manager
- Provide Support at meetings with commissioners and regulators in the absence of Regional Mangers as requested
- Temporary cover of homes to cover for Regional Managers
- Investigation of complaints/incidents as directed by the Operations Director
- Investigations of HR Issues/ grievances
- Provide specific support and monitor individual services as and when required.
- Cover services in the absence of a manager or peripatetic manager
- This role will report to an experienced Regional Manager unless a specific project is specified to be completed and reported to the Operations Director.
Qualification
- You will have financial business acumen with an understanding of business drivers, knowledge of industry regulations and the ability to deliver business strategy.
Experience
- Have experience in excellent management methodology
- Proven experience of quality assurance
- Have excellent leadership and management capability to deliver an exceptional service
- Mentoring and coaching experience
Knowledge
- Knowledge of general IT systems
Communication
- Courteous and efficient telephone manner
- Professional appearance and manner
- Strong communication skills to deliver a professional practice with a focus on privacy and independence of choice

Requirements
- Full Driving License
- Must have flexibility to work at any of the homes within the region for a period of time (Monday to Friday generally)
The successful candidate will have excellent management methodology to deliver projects, excellent leadership and management capability to deliver an exceptional service, achieve results, lead and motivate care centre staff. You will be an excellent communicator, have the ability to work in complex and pressurised environments, have financial business acumen with an understanding of business drivers, knowledge of industry regulations and the ability to deliver business strategy.
