Full job description

Planters Pacific is a well-established and award-winning garden centre based in Streetly,

Aldridge, WS9 0PH. We also provide the local community with a successful Café. We are recruiting for a Part time, permanent Baker to join our team within the Café

Pacific and to work alongside our Head Baker. Our cake display is the heart of the café and we are proud to produce so many popular bakes.

Our Head Baker is always developing and creating amazing new bakes for our customers and you would be able to be important part in this.

We are looking for a baker that enjoys baking with fresh ingredients and the skills to

cook our homemade selection of cakes, biscuits and scones for the cafe and the farm

shop on site.

Experience is essential, and we are looking for someone with a working knowledge of baking with real ingredients, from scratch.
You will need to be well organised, able to work independently and as part of the team, at speed when needed, while still maintaining our high standards of quality and presentation.
You will need a good understanding of allergens and food hygiene.

Hours of work will be between 8:30am to 4:00pm (some flexibility of hours possible). This will include one day in the week (to be confirmed), Saturday and Sunday. (Sunday hours 9:30am- 4:00pm).

Responsibilities will also include:

Keep records of food and storage temperatures
Complete any preparation for the next day and cleaning duties at the end of each

session.

Salary dependant on experience

Free on-site parking
