An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Intermediate Care Service in Walsall, this is a multi-disciplinary team operated jointly between Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust and Walsall Adult Social Care.

We are particularly looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team to help shape and deliver our services, and contribute to the model of best practice. The successful candidates will be required to have experience of working in Adult Social Care and to join our Multi-Disciplinary Team

Successful candidates will have a proven track record of working with citizens to achieve their personal goals and have the skills to manage a small team.

Are you a confident and effective communicator who enjoys working with others? Do you have the skills to motivate and encourage others to achieve their goals? Do you thrive in a busy and active environment, have the skills to work on your own initiative whilst being a team player? If you do, and you have experience of managing a small team, then this is an exciting opportunity for you to join our service.

As a Senior Reablement Officer you will work with individuals in their own home to support and encourage them to develop or regain skills to live independent and fulfilling lives. You will work closely with the therapy team to deliver bespoke support and contribute to ongoing reviews.

Your role will also entail managing reablement officers on a day to day basis, providing 1:1 support and contributing to the development of the staff and team.

A good knowledge of CQC is essential.
