Job Description

Job title: Senior Drying Claims Coordinator

Salary: From £35,000 dependant on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

Location: Office based in Rugeley, Staffordshire

Holiday: Statutory

Job Role:

We are looking for an experienced and organised Senior Drying Claims Coordinator to support the continued growth of our drying and restoration division.

This role will involve overseeing the day-to-day running of drying claims, supporting a file handler responsible for booking in jobs, and taking ownership of more complex claims and operational queries.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are progressed efficiently, service level agreements are met, and high standards of customer service and insurer compliance are maintained at all times.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage drying and restoration claims from instruction through to completion

· Support and supervise the file handler with daily job allocations and workflow

· Handle complex claims queries and escalations from customers, insurers, and loss adjusters

· Monitor SLAs and KPI performance to ensure client expectations are achieved

· Review existing procedures and assist in improving operational processes and efficiencies

· Liaise with technicians, surveyors, insurers, and policyholders to ensure smooth claim progression

· Ensure all claim files and documentation are updated accurately and in line with company procedures

· Assist with scheduling and coordination of drying works where required

· Identify areas for business growth and support the expansion of the drying claims department

· Maintain strong working relationships with insurers, clients, and contractors

· Support management with reporting, audits, and compliance requirements

Skills and Experience Required:

· Previous experience within insurance restoration, drying, and property claims

· Strong organisational and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple claims and prioritise workloads effectively

· Experience dealing with insurers, loss adjusters, and customers

· Good understanding of SLA and KPI management

· Confident handling complex claims and problem solving

· Experience using claims management systems preferred

· Professional and proactive approach to work

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
