We are seeking a skilled bench Joiner to join our team on a self-employed basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong proven background in bespoke high end joinery.
This role involves producing high quality cabinetry and fitted furniture from a range of materials.
The Joiner will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to all safety standards.
Duties
- Accurately read technical drawings and specifications
- Fabricate bespoke joinery items from technical drawings to the highest standard
- Ensure items are produced in line with production programme
- Use hand/power tools and machinery effectively for various tasks.
- Quality check own work before hand over to factory manager
Requirements
- Excellent tooling/machine ability is essential panel saw, chop saw, routers, spindle, veneer press, sanding
- Excellent understanding of joinery production techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A valid driver's licence is preferred but not essential.
- Report directly to Factory Manager
