About the Role
We are looking for two caring, reliable, and hardworking people to join our team and help provide outstanding daily care for our rescue dogs.
This is a hands-on role for people who want to make a genuine difference. It’s not just about loving dogs — it’s about showing up, working well, learning our methods, and giving the dogs the quality care they deserve every day.
We are a small team, so character matters more than experience. Skills can be taught. Kindness, maturity, and work ethic matter most.
What the Role Includes
- Exercising dogs and providing daily enrichment
- Proper dog walking and engagement
- Feeding, cleaning, and routine care
- Administering medication where required
- Following training and behaviour plans
- Keeping accurate records
- Supporting the smooth running of the kennels
- Working outdoors in all weathers
Who We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from people who are:
- Kind and genuinely want to make a difference
- Dependable, accountable, and consistent
- Hardworking, proactive, and happy to get stuck in
- Pleasant, respectful, and easy to work with
- Open-minded, coachable, and willing to learn our methods
- Socially confident with strong communication skills
- Mature in attitude and emotionally steady
- Team players with positive, helpful energy
- Happy to follow guidance and work within established systems
- Calm, cooperative, and solutions-focused in daily work
- Comfortable around all breeds, sizes, and personalities of dogs
- Motivated by giving the dogs the best possible care each day
You’ll Probably Enjoy This Role If You...
- Prefer being busy rather than clock-watching
- Get satisfaction from doing a job properly
- Can laugh, muck in, and be part of a team
- Care about animals in a practical, not just theoretical, way
- Understand that dogs need presence, patience, and consistency
We keep things warm, professional, and focused on the dogs.
