Dog Handler / Dog Walker

Katie & Friends Pet Services – Waltham Abbey & surrounding areas

We are looking for a reliable, confident and experienced Dog Handler to join our growing team at Katie & Friends Pet Services.

This is not just a “walk dogs in the park” role — you will be responsible for handling multiple dogs safely, managing behaviour, and representing a well-established business with high standards.

The Role

Walking groups of dogs in a variety of environments
Handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments
Ensuring all dogs are kept safe at all times
Collecting and dropping off dogs from clients’ homes using a company vehicle
Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and equipment
Communicating professionally with clients when required

What We’re Looking For

Confident handling multiple dogs at once
Good understanding of dog behaviour and health
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Full clean UK driving licence for a manual vehicle is essential
Proven experience with animals

Hours

*This is a full time position*

5 days per week (Mon - Fri)
6 hours per day
Potential to work a weekend on odd occasion with advanced notice given

Pay

£13.50 per hour
