Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bar Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, engaging with diverse customers and contributing to a memorable experience.

The venue is open mainly on a daytime basis but with I event night.

We are looking for someone who can work, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Duties

Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and courteously.
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the POS system.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adherence to licensing laws.
Assist in setting up events or special occasions as required.
Engage with customers to create a friendly and welcoming environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar is essential
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in bar service.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Good time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or special events as needed.
A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This role provides an engaging opportunity within the hospitality sector for individuals passionate about creating enjoyable experiences for guests while developing their skills in a dynamic environment.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
