Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and professional Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a vibrant organisation that values organisational skills, effective communication, and strategic negotiation. The ideal applicant will possess strong IT proficiency, time management abilities, and a customer-focused approach to business-to-business (B2B) sales.

Duties

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients whilst identifying new business opportunities
Negotiate terms and agreements to secure mutually beneficial deals
Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring client needs are met efficiently and effectively
Conduct regular meetings with clients to review performance and address any concerns
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements
Utilise IT systems to track sales activities, manage customer data, and generate reports
Develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues proactively
Drive B2B sales initiatives through outreach, presentations, and networking events
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and product offerings

Experience

Proven experience in account management or B2B sales roles is preferred
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Demonstrable IT proficiency including CRM systems, MS Office suite, and other relevant software tools
Valid driving licence is desirable for client visits and meetings outside the office
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Strong time management skills to handle multiple accounts simultaneously
Customer service experience is highly valued, with a focus on building long-term relationships
