We are looking for animal technicians for our expanding Biological Services Unit.
We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic individuals to join our team of technicians at the Biological Services Unit in the Royal Veterinary College, Camden campus.
You will be involved with the husbandry and associated care of a range of animals, i.e. rodents, rabbits, fish, pigs and ferrets and as required, in our research and teaching department.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of routine animal husbandry, observations, environmental monitoring and record keeping. Have basic knowledge and understanding of A(SP)A 1986, experience of substance handling and a general willingness to learn new skills.
Full training will be provided.
You must have a good level of house-keeping and accurate record keeping skills.
