Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our dynamic legal team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in the legal field while contributing to meaningful projects. The successful candidate will assist with various legal tasks, providing invaluable support to our attorneys and gaining insights into the workings of a legal environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research on various topics and prepare summaries of findings.
Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and memoranda.
Support attorneys in case preparation by organising files and maintaining documentation.
Attend meetings and take notes, providing follow-up on action items as necessary.
Help with the management of case files and ensure all documents are accurately filed and accessible.
Participate in client communications under the supervision of an attorney.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations that may impact ongoing cases or projects.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law or a related field.
Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Previous experience in a legal setting is advantageous but not essential.
