Experienced Property Inventory Clerks Required – Greater London
Pinnacle Inventory is seeking experienced, professional and reliable Property Inventory Clerks to join our growing network across Greater London.
We work with letting agents, property managers, landlords and tenants, providing detailed and impartial inventory, check-in, check-out and mid-term inspection reports.
PLEASE NOTE
Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Property Inventory Clerk.
At this stage, we are unable to provide training for individuals with no inventory experience.
The Role
This is a flexible self-employed position suitable for experienced clerks looking for additional work alongside existing commitments.
You will be responsible for:
· Carrying out property inspections across Greater London
· Completing detailed and accurate Inventory and Check in, Mid Term and Check out reports through written recording and/or dictation. (We use a typist to transcribe your dictated recordings).
· Accurately recording the condition, cleanliness and contents of residential properties
· Taking clear and comprehensive property photographs
· Meeting tenants at appointments where required
· Taking utility meter readings
· Collecting and returning keys where required
· Communicating professionally with agents, landlords and tenants
· Submitting reports within agreed deadlines
Essential Requirements
· Minimum 1 year experience as a Property Inventory Clerk
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Strong attention to detail
· Professional, reliable and punctual
· Ability to work independently
· Own smartphone, tablet or iPad capable of running Inventory Base
· Ability to travel throughout Greater London and arrive punctually for appointments
· Good time management skills
· Smart and professional appearance
Working Arrangement
- Operates on a freelance/self-employed contractor basis.
- Flexible schedule with availability for daytime, evening, and occasional weekend appointments.
- Payment is made on a per-assignment basis, with fees determined by factors such as property size, type, and location.
- Responsible for managing their own tax obligations, maintaining appropriate business insurance (including public liability and professional indemnity where applicable), and providing the equipment required to carry out inspections and reporting duties.
Desirable
· Experience using Inventory Base (If not, a short training session can be provided)
· In possession of: FB Keys, Gas Meter Keys, T-Bar Utility Key, torch and measuring tape
Rates of Pay
Pay per report | Potential earning £150–£200 per day, depending on the size of the property and inspection type.
