Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the accurate recording and management of financial transactions, ensuring the integrity of our accounting records. Your expertise will help drive efficient financial operations, support strategic decision-making, and maintain compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities

Manage and reconcile accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Maintain precise records of all financial transactions, including expenses, receipts, and bank deposits
Prepare detailed financial reports and statements to support management’s decision-making processes
Assist with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Monitor cash flow and coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies or issues
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies while adhering to relevant regulations
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial data

Experience

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper with a strong understanding of accounting principles
Extensive proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms
Demonstrated expertise in managing accounts payable processes from invoice receipt to payment completion
Familiarity with reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate ledger entries
Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners
