We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Farm Manager to join and support the Oxfordshire team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Support all aspects of crop production, including planting, crop monitoring, and harvesting.
Assist in achieving crop yield, quality, and budget targets.
Promote and maintain high standards of Health & Safety across the farm.
Plan and coordinate labour requirements, particularly during peak and harvest periods.
Oversee the efficient use of farm machinery and ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
Maintain accurate records of machinery and farm assets.
Manage supplier relationships and ensure best value for goods and services.
Support, motivate, and develop farm employees through effective communication and leadership.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
Build positive working relationships across the wider business.
Undertake training and any other duties appropriate to the role.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an Assistant Farm Manager or similar agricultural role.
Good knowledge of crop production and modern farming practices.
Experience coordinating labour and farm operations.
Understanding of agricultural machinery and maintenance requirements.
Strong organisational and IT skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Relevant agricultural qualifications are desirable.
