The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, staff welfare, education, safeguarding, and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing inspirational leadership and supporting the professional development of the nursery team.
Ensuring full compliance with the EYFS Framework, safeguarding requirements, and all statutory regulations.
Leading the nursery towards achieving and maintaining Outstanding practice.
Managing occupancy, budgets, staffing, and resources effectively.
Building positive relationships with children, families, professionals, and the local community.
Supporting recruitment, induction, supervision, and performance management.
Promoting our Montessori-inspired philosophy and eco-conscious values throughout the nursery.
Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing culture where everyone feels valued.
Driving continuous improvement and innovation across the setting.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 6 or above desirable).
Previous experience as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or Senior Leader within an early years setting.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
Proven leadership and people management skills.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing nursery operations, compliance, and quality improvement.
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families.
A commitment to our values, vision, and mission.
Paediatric First Aid qualification

Desirable:

Montessori qualification or experience.
Experience leading an Ofsted inspection resulting in a Good or Outstanding judgement.
Knowledge of sustainable and environmentally conscious practice..
