Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber/Pipefitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems across various domestic and commercial sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in plumbing and mechanical systems, who are eager to contribute to high-quality projects while developing their skills further.

Duties

Installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems using a range of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Assembling pipework and fittings with precision to meet safety standards and project requirements.
Conducting inspections of piping systems to identify leaks or faults and implementing effective repairs.
Assisting with the installation of mechanical components such as valves, pumps, and fixtures.
Performing heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials and equipment into position.
Maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently within designated timeframes.

Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing, pipefitting, or related mechanical trades.
Proficiency in welding techniques and the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of plumbing systems and components.
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical diagrams.

Pay: £20.00-£27.33 per hour
