Hours: 40 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Hours 07.30am - 06.00pm )
Castor Lodge located in the village of Castor near Peterborough provides a warm welcome as soon as you set foot through the door. The home has been designed for residents living with dementia in mind and incorporates themed areas to facilitate meaningful activities for residents including its own pub, hairdressing salon and nail spa, corner shop and café bistro not to mention the beautiful outdoor spaces, for relaxation

ABOUT THE FOOD & BEVERAGE ROLE:
Within your role as a Food & Beverage Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Some of your responsibilities will include:

Serving residents their meals, snacks & beverages
-
Replenish all snack stations
-
Clean up after all meals
-
Re-lay tables & cloths
-
Cleaning the dining/kitchen areas
ABOUT YOU:

Excellent Customer service skills

Experience as a Food & Beverage Assistant or similar role

Good knowledge & experience in the food/restaurant Industry

Knowledge of COSHH & health & safety standards
-
Have a friendly & caring attitude
-
Able to engage well with the residents and their families
-
Understanding of people with Dementia
-
Able to work independently & as a team
