Fabricator, Fitter & Installation Technician

Location: The Machine Install Company Ltd Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (overtime available)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Stainless Steel Welder / Fabricators to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating bespoke machinery from drawings, at times requiring also to assemble, and install our range of products working to a high standard, both in the workshop and on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble products from technical drawings and specifications.
Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
Carry out fitting and installation work on-site.
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
Conduct measurements and site surveys where required.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

Previous experience in fabrication, fitting, and installation work
Experience in TIG & MAG Welding
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Fabrication and Welding Engineering, (such as City & Guilds 1782 or EAL)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Competent in the use of hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
