Renewable Energy Consultant
Location: Bournemouth-based (covering Dorset, Wiltshire, and Hampshire)
Salary: £28,000 base salary + 3% uncapped commission (Realistic OTE: £55,000 - £65,000+)

Due to a surge in demand, we are expanding our Bournemouth team. You will be taking 100% warm, inbound enquiries from homeowners who are reaching out to us. Your role is to guide them on their renewable energy journey, helping them find the perfect sustainable solution for their home.

Your Main Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to incoming customer enquiries and build immediate rapport.
- Conduct face-to-face consultation appointments across Dorset, Wiltshire, and Hampshire.
- Assess homes for solar suitability and analyze energy bills.
- Design tailored renewable energy systems using our simple, intuitive software.
- Present solutions, close sales, and manage your pipeline from inquiry to installation.
Who You Are
- Driven & Motivated: Hungry to maximize the uncapped commission structure.
- Excellent Communicator: A natural listener who can break down technical ideas simply.
- Mobile: Must hold a valid UK driving licence to utilise the company vehicle.
- Experienced: A background in customer-facing roles, retail, or field sales is highly beneficial, but passion for renewables is key.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries.
- Schedule and conduct consultation appointments.
- Assess properties for solar suitability.
- Design tailored renewable energy systems.
- Close sales and manage customer pipelines.
What We Need From You
- ✅ Minimum 1 year in solar sales: Proven track record in residential renewable energy sales.
- ✅ Proficient in OpenSolar design software: Comfortable building and presenting accurate solar layouts.
- ✅ Experienced in conducting full residential site surveys: Confident mapping roof layouts and evaluating property suitability.
- ✅ Technical knowledge: Solid understanding of the MCS process, DNO applications, and battery storage solutions.
- ✅ Humility & drive: The attitude and hunger to learn — with your ego left at the door.
- ✅ Consultative mindset: You sell by building trust, not by applying high-pressure tactics.
- ✅ Flexibility: Available to attend appointments during evenings and weekends when needed to fit around homeowners' schedules.
- ✅ Autonomy: Self-motivated and entirely comfortable working independently on the road.
- ✅ Compliance: Holds a valid UK driving licence
