Taka Taka is a fast-growing Greek street food brand serving fresh, high-quality Greek and Mediterranean food, including gyros, souvlaki, pita wraps, bowls, grill dishes, Greek salads, halloumi fries, desserts and more. The Bournemouth store operates in a busy, fast-paced QSR environment with eat-in, takeaway, click & collect and delivery channels.
We are now looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager / QSR Manager to lead our Bournemouth team and drive excellent standards across service, food quality, speed, cleanliness and operational performance.
The Role
As the Manager of Taka Taka Bournemouth, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store. This is a practical, floor-based management role, ideal for someone who understands fast food, quick-service restaurants, high-volume takeaway, delivery platforms and busy customer-facing hospitality operations.
You will lead the team by example, ensuring every shift runs smoothly, efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations across front of house, kitchen, grill, prep, takeaway and delivery orders.
- Lead, motivate and organise the team during busy service periods.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, speed of service and customer experience.
- Monitor staff performance, punctuality, appearance, attitude and productivity.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, cleaning and health & safety standards are followed at all times.
- Control stock, wastage, ordering, portioning and product availability.
- Manage opening, closing, cash handling and shift handover procedures.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues quickly.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of team members.
- Work closely with senior management to improve sales, labour control, service times and operational standards.
- Ensure delivery platform orders are prepared accurately, quickly and to brand standard.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented restaurant at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, reliable and commercially aware. You must be comfortable managing people, working under pressure and taking full ownership of store standards.
You should have:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, Store Manager or QSR Manager.
- Strong experience in fast food, takeaway, casual dining, delivery-led hospitality or high-volume food service.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A hands-on attitude — willing to jump into service, support the team and solve problems.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene, health & safety and operational discipline.
- Ability to manage labour, stock, service speed and customer satisfaction.
- Confidence using POS systems and delivery platforms.
- A calm, professional approach during busy and pressured shifts.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and late shifts when required.

Working Hours
