Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated reactive Drainage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the clearing of all internal and external drainage systems including sinks, baths, showers, toilets etc. All external drainage both in residential and commercial settings. The candidate will also be required to be part of an on call rota basis 1 in every third week. We are a successful family run business and been operating for over 15 years.

Duties

maintain drainage infrastructure using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment including High Pressure water jetting machines, electro mechanical cable equipment etc.
Conduct inspections of existing drainage networks to identify faults or blockages.
Carry out heavy lifting of materials and components safely during maintenance activities.
Operate commercial vehicles for transporting equipment and materials to site locations.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the safe use of mechanical tools and heavy machinery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in drainage related activities.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to drainage systems and infrastructure components.
clean, valid driving licence required.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in various indoor and outdoor environments.
This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in drainage within a professional setting that values safety, quality, and innovation.

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
