Taylor Made Designs are a growing uniform manufacturer specialising in branded workwear, embroidery, print and managed uniform solutions. We are looking for a commercially minded Bid Writer / Tender Writer to help secure new contracts through high-quality tender submissions and proposal management.
The role will involve identifying tender opportunities, managing submissions and producing high-quality bid responses that help win business. You will work closely with sales, operations and management teams to gather information and create commercially strong proposals.
We are also investing heavily into AI and automation tools to support tender identification and response writing, so the successful candidate should be comfortable working alongside AI-assisted systems and refining AI-generated content into accurate, tailored, and persuasive submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify relevant tender opportunities
- Manage the tender process from qualification to submission
- Write and submit high-quality tender responses
- Work with internal teams to gather technical and commercial information
- Review and improve AI-generated draft responses
- Maintain bid content, case studies and supporting documents
- Help improve tender processes and win rates
Skills & Experience
- Previous bid writing, tender writing or proposal writing experience
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Commercially aware and process driven
- Comfortable using AI tools and modern software platforms
- Ability to review and improve AI-generated content
Experience within manufacturing, workwear, uniforms or B2B industries would be advantageous
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
