Property Care Operative
Location: Reading & Surrounding Areas
Hours: 10–20 hours per week (with flexibility, depending on business requirements, with the opportunity to increase further if desired)
Salary: £7,800 – £15,600 per annum (£15.00 per hour)

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and conscientious Property Care Operative to join our growing team.
This is a varied role where no two weeks will be the same. Whilst your primary responsibility will be maintaining our office and serviced accommodation properties to an exceptional standard, the role has genuine opportunity to develop into a wider property presentation and maintenance position as the business continues to grow.
Initially, your responsibilities will include:
Office
- Cleaning offices to an exceptional standard.
- Cleaning kitchen and staff welfare areas.
- Cleaning toilets.
- Emptying bins and recycling.
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
- Washing up where required.
- Restocking tea, coffee and other consumables.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
- Internal window cleaning where required.
- Keeping the office entrance and surrounding areas tidy.
- Washing a company vehicle approximately once every fortnight.
Serviced Accommodation (Airbnb)
Subject to guest bookings:
- Full property cleaning.
- Changing bedding.
- Laundry.
- Making beds to a high standard.
- Restocking guest consumables.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damage.
- Taking photographs following each clean to demonstrate the completed standard.
Future Opportunities
As the role develops, you may also assist with:
- Professional LVT floor deep cleaning and maintenance.
- Floor care services for homeowners and developers.
- End-of-build sparkle cleans.
- Show home preparation.
- Property presentation.
- Warranty support visits.
- General property care and presentation.
About You
Previous cleaning experience is welcomed but is not essential.
We are far more interested in finding someone who genuinely takes pride in their work.
The ideal person will be:

- Highly observant with excellent attention to detail.
- Someone who enjoys leaving every property looking its absolute best.
- Comfortable travelling between locations using their own vehicle.
- In possession of a full UK driving licence.
