At Hagerty Digital, we’re expanding our development team to support a major long-term client transformation programme. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to work on projects that have a real business impact.
This isn’t your typical agency developer role. Alongside selected web development projects, you’ll work across CRM platforms, SQL databases, APIs, middleware and business-critical software integrations. You’ll also play an important role in developing and supporting a Magento-based customer portal, which forms a key part of the client’s digital ecosystem.
As the programme evolves, you’ll also have the opportunity to become involved in a large-scale ERP implementation and integration project, giving you exposure to enterprise-level systems transformation as the platform develops.
The Role
You’ll join a growing Systems & Integrations team responsible for delivering complex software solutions for one of our largest clients. Initially, your focus will be on CRM integrations, customer portal development, SQL-driven applications and connecting business systems through APIs and custom middleware.
Looking ahead, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the client’s future ERP migration and integration programme as that project moves into delivery.
You’ll work across a broad range of technologies and collaborate with developers, project managers and stakeholders to design, build and improve systems that underpin day-to-day business operations.
We will also be inheriting a Coollogic Android app being built on native Java in the near future as well.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining SQL-driven applications and databases
- Supporting and enhancing a Magento-based customer portal
- Building custom middleware and integrating third-party platforms
- Developing and maintaining APIs that connect business-critical systems
- Delivering CRM and wider business systems integration projects
- Helping modernise and improve legacy applications and infrastructure
- Working across full-stack development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related technologies
- Collaborating with colleagues and clients to understand technical requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Supporting the wider development team on agency projects where required
- Contributing to future ERP integration work as the programme develops
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a developer who enjoys tackling technical challenges, learning new technologies and working across a variety of projects.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Strong commercial experience with SQL and relational databases
- A solid full-stack development background
- Experience building or consuming APIs
- Experience with software integrations and middleware
- Commercial experience with Magento, or confidence working within Magento-based applications
- Exposure to CRM, ecommerce or other business-critical systems
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web technologies
- A practical, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- Confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Around three or more years’ commercial development experience
Desirable Experience
While not essential, experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
- CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce
- ERP systems or enterprise software
- Data migration and systems integration
- Ecommerce platforms
- Accountancy, telephony or operational business systems
- Previous experience working within a digital agency or fast-paced project environment

Working Pattern
This role is primarily office-based from our Warmley, Bristol office, with flexibility where appropriate. Occasional travel to client or vendor sites may be required as part of project delivery.
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
