Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in management within retail or sales environments. Responsibilities

Assist the Cafe Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and achievement of business targets.
Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
Manage staff schedules, organise tasks, and monitor attendance to optimise productivity.
Support sales initiatives through effective merchandising, promotional activities, and customer engagement strategies.
Handle customer queries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Contribute to recruitment, training, and development programmes for new and existing staff members.
Maintain organisational standards by ensuring cleanliness, stock replenishment, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist with administrative duties including stock management, record keeping, and correspondence.

Qualifications

Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or sales environments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
